DISASEM is a young company, born in 1990 after more than two decades of experience of its promotors within the seed industry.

The good knowledge of this sector allowed us, after a brief period, to consolidate DISASEM as one of the Spanish leading seed companies.

The good work in introducing and adapting new varieties into Spain made DISASEM varieties a reference of the Spanish market in terms of quality and yield, reaching an important share in the pea and cereals seed markets. Excluding durum wheat seed, we represent 10% of the certified seed market and around 75% of the quality malting barley seed, before with our variety Alexis, with the veteran Scarlett and now with Beatrix, Auriga and JB Maltasia.
