DISASEM is a young company, born in 1990 after more than two decades of experience of its promotors within the seed industry.

The good knowledge of this sector allowed us, after a brief period of 16 years, to consolidate DISASEM as one of the Spanish leading seed companies.

The good work in introducing and adapting new varieties into Spain made DISASEM varieties a reference of the Spanish market in terms of quality and yield, reaching an important share in the pea and cereals seed markets. Excluding durum wheat seed, recently included in our catalogue, we represent 9% of the certified seed market and around 77% of the quality malting barley seed, before with our variety Alexis, and currently with Scarlett, Marnie, Beatrix, Auriga and the new come JB Maltasia.
